If you email us, we receive the message and the email address you send it from, which we use only to reply. Like most websites, our server may log standard technical data such as your browser type, the pages you view, and a truncated network address, used to keep the site running and secure.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which guides are read, so we know what to write next. This tells us how the site is used in aggregate, not who you are. Any cookies we set are limited to running the site and measuring traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
